Joseph Young is Director of Business Development at Sampson Construction. Previously, he was the Executive Vice President at the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Additionally, he has managed government affairs efforts for Cox Communications’ Central Region, which includes Nebraska. He has served time on Capitol Hill working for a congressman from Texas. Since returning to Nebraska, he has led public policy initiatives for the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and the Greater Omaha Chamber.

Young also serves as immediate past-president of the board for Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach and is on the board at Family Service of Lincoln. He is a proud graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and is pursuing an MBA from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
