Donna earned both her B.S. and master’s degrees in Journalism & Mass Communications from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is an expert in corporate and nonprofit Reputation Management. Donna spent seven years as Chief of Corporate Communications & Public Affairs at TD Ameritrade. She then worked as Vice President of Public Affairs during 10 years at Union Pacific Railroad before founding Donna Kush Strategies in 2017. Donna Kush Strategies develops strategic direction, including marketing, public relations, and communications strategy, for large nonprofit organizations. Donna has worked with notable Nebraska nonprofits such as SHAREOmaha.org and the Suzanne & Walter Scott Foundation. She has a strong reputation as a visionary and brand builder. In 2020, she took over as CEO of the Omaha Community Foundation.
