Assistant VP for University Affairs/Director of Marketing, University of Nebraska
Jackie Ostrowicki is the Assistant Vice President for University Affairs at the University of Nebraska. She develops and manages marketing and branding strategy and activities that advance the mission of the University of Nebraska system. She supports the University’s president and regents in achieving NU’s goals, including workforce development and serving as an economic driver for Nebraska. She also leads the University Affairs communications team as they work to strengthen the university brand, deliver key messages, and help achieve state and federal legislative priorities.
Jackie has over 15 years of experience in marketing, including several years teaching communication at the university level. Prior to NU, she worked in the private sector for over a decade—leading a small startup that delivered products for job-seekers; at a large publicly traded company as their director of marketing; and at several advertising agencies as a writer/producer. She is passionate about leadership and professional development for women and is highly involved in the community, serving on several arts, education, and economic development-related boards. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Jackie holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
