Pro-Fit designs and sells a patented web-based golf club fitting software system called the “Pro-Fit Performance Club Fitting System.”  The software gathers a variety of information from each user such as length, overall weight, swing weight, shaft flex, grip placement, shaft loading, player flexibility and player handicap and outputs a “Performance Index” for the player.  This Performance Index allows a club fitter to build the ideal club for each individual player.

Trak Surgical is the result of 12 years of research and development out of the innovative Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The break-through technology is the first jig free, computer-assisted navigation system used in joint replacement surgery. In numerous experiments with surgeons, the technology has proven to enhance the speed, accuracy, and throughput of joint replacement procedures by eliminating the use of cumbersome and time-consuming mechanical jigs.

Founded in 2006 by two University of Nebraska professors, mechanical engineer Shane Farritor and surgeon Dmitry Oleynikov, Virtual Incision is developing surgical robots using technology exclusively licensed from the University of Nebraska. The technology uses several existing tools and techniques already familiar to surgeons, and the Virtual Incision platform will be much less expensive than existing robotic alternatives. Along with Invest Nebraska, Virtual Incision has raised capital from Prairie Gold Venture Partners and Bluestem Capital, two South Dakota based venture capital firms.
