Competition Application

All submissions will be held in confidence by Invest Nebraska and will not be shared or distributed to anyone other than the judges’ panels.

Waiver and acknowledgement:  By submitting this Venture Competition application electronically, I acknowledge that I/my company specifically agree(s) to hold Invest Nebraska harmless for any losses experienced through any participation in the Venture Competition.  I acknowledge that all rules and regulations governing the Competition and as detailed in the Rules and Regulations, as found on www.investnebraska.com/venture-competitions/regional-competitions, are incorporated by reference and are binding upon myself, my company (where applicable) and all participants.  I also acknowledge that before the funds are transferred to my business, I agree to have a validly incorporated or organized entity (in good standing and compliant under State and Federal laws) as the recipient of those funds in exchange for validly transferred shares or membership interests in the entity.  I also understand that upon winning the Competition, I will work with representatives of Invest Nebraska to determine the fair market value of my company in exchange for the funds and the corresponding ownership represented by the award as well as the mutually acceptable terms and conditions prior to finalizing the investment from Invest Nebraska.  I also agree to facilitate Invest Nebraska’s due diligence by providing professional references and authorizing a background and/or credit check should they be required.
