Invest Nebraska is a partner in the Rural Sourcing Project along with Xpanxion, the Nebraska Alumni Association, and the Central for Rural Research and Development. Army gives $2.8 million for robotic research

Omaha-based Acass Systems is revolutionizing staging for live music

In a nondescript, 30,000-square-foot manufacturing facility south of downtown Omaha, Aaron Cass is realizing his plans to turn live music’s infrastructure on its head.

Cass said he witnessed the relative lack of evolution in the industry’s stages, barricades and mechanics over 16 years spent as a roadie for acts that included Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones, Britney Spears and the Black-Eyed Peas.
